Makeño Son was born when destiny made an unexpected move in 1999 and united two souls who live for and love music.This happened at a small very peculiar place called "Cafe Tarot" in the city of Quito located in the highland areas of Ecuador in South America.
The members of the Band bonded
sharing the idea of maintaining alive
those old tunes from when they were little and giving them their own special romantic and tropical touch with the guitar, maracas and bongos which are included in every rhythm of it´s repertoires.
Makeño Son has been blessed to have
shared various stages in many cities in Ecuador and United States with great
musicians and friends who will never be forgotten and from whom it keeps a bit of their essence.
